The Being Mindful Teens Wellbeing Program aims to equip teens to skillfully manage the ups and downs, the stresses, demands, joys and heartaches of the teen years. Our program empowers teens to identify, and learn strategies to build and develop, their inner strengths and resources such as; mindfulness, optimism, growth mindset, compassion, courage, values, and self-belief.

This 6-week course, based on proven Mindfulness and Positive Psychology programs, is designed to:

• Promote resilience, build confidence and self-esteem.
• Improve coping skills to manage stress and anxiety effectively.
• Develop mindfulness skills around social media and relationships.
• And promote wellbeing, empowering teens to reach their full potential.

In this two-hour workshop, Alex will explore progressions and techniques to safely prepare us for arm balances and inversions. She will take you through the tips and traps of the most widely practised arm balances, inversions and their variations. Whether you are entry level or you already know how to fly, everyone can benefit from fine-tuning your alignment. All levels are welcome.

Winter is a time where we are encouraged to slow down, rest, restore and look within. Governed by the water element and the kidney and urinary bladder meridians, the source and storehouse of our vital energy, winter is the perfect time for this restorative practice, replenishing energy and leaving you feeling rested and renewed.

Vic will guide you through a grounding yoga flow to strengthen and replenish the “agni”, our inner fire, while combining energy medicine yoga techniques to restore and revitalize energy. Then we will move onto to a restorative yin practice strengthening and balancing the kidney and urinary bladder meridians, working with the winter element of water to support energy to flow and avoid stagnation and illness. Finishing with a beautiful nourishing yoga nidra (deep rest) to the seal the practice leaving you feeling relaxed and renewed!
